Technical Information

The IC610MDL111 input module is an input module manufactured by GE Fanuc with a voltage rating of 24 Volts AC/DC. It has 8 individually isolated input circuits. This I/O module is small in size and it weighs around 140 grams. The module accepts discrete signals from switches, buttons, and contacts. It operates with an input current of 19 milliamps maximum. The response for the off to on and on to off times for the AC input ranges between 5 and 50 and 5 and 60 milliseconds, respectively, and for DC input, the time ranges are 6 to 30 milliseconds and 5 to 60 milliseconds, respectively. The IC610MDL111 input module is equipped with field-side LED indicators on the front panel. The LED indicators illuminate when the connection is active on the circuits. For DC input, the internal power consumption is 9 Volts DC with 10 milliamps of current that are powered from the rack power supply.

 

The user-connected devices that are used with the IC610MDL111 input module are connected to the screw terminals on the front panel of the I/O module. The screw terminal is manufactured with high-quality materials and it operates at a high level of efficiency. The I/O module board houses different components including conductors and buses. The IC610MDL111 input module is powered from the backplane with a 5 Volts bus. The I/O module is easy to install. It can be latched on to the rail of the PLC system. The input devices can connect with the I/O module by using a single 12 AWG wire or two 14 AWG wires. There are 2 commons labelled as CA and CB that are internally isolated. The module should be installed in a clean environment with no EMC noise.
