Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC610MDL102 module is an input module manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation. It belongs to the GE Fanuc Series One product family, and it operates on 24 Volts DC power. This module provides a dual function because it has 4 input circuits which are intended to receive one discrete “on” and “off” signal each from the operator-supplied devices connected to them, as well as 4 output circuits for controlling the user-provided discrete “on” and “off” loads. The IC610MDL102 input module features typical input devices such as pushbuttons, limit switches, selector switches, and relay contacts. The module also comes with specific devices including motor starters, solenoid valves, indicator lights, and relay coils. The 24 Volts DC power is used to sense the status of the inputs and it is provided by the power supply rack.

 

The IC610MDL102 input module also has 4 output circuits that are referenced through various loads to one DC source of power. It features an LED indicator that shows the on-state and off-state for each of the input and output circuits. Four input circuits are specially designed and intended to receive one discrete “on” and “off” signal from the user-supplied devices, including relay contacts, limit switches, and pushbuttons. The IC610MDL102 input module also features 4 relay output circuits that are intended to help in controlling the user-supplied discrete “on” and “off” loads. Some of the typical loads include indicator lights and relay coils. Because relay output circuits are not designed only for specific voltage ratings like 24 Volts DC or 115 Volts AC, they can be used safely for various kinds of signal types and loads.
