Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC610CHS124 power supply rack is a 10-slot power supply rack manufactured as part of the GE Fanuc Series One product line. The IC610CHS124 input and output rack has a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC, and it features a peripheral jack which is a serial port designed to enable the connection of the audio cassette tape recorder to save and record the programs saved in the user memory. This port on the IC610CHS124 power supply rack is used to verify the tape contents against the user memory contents, as well as against the load programs that are saved in the user memory. All programs should be entered into the user memory and stored in the tape after they have been verified as correct. When recording the Series One Plus program on the tape, the data register contents are not saved.

 

For checking the program and error codes while entering the ladder logic programs through the programmer, the CPU performs various checks automatically on the data as well as the operations that the programmer selects. Additionally, the functions need to be verified and checked for the correct key sequence and the appropriate references range. The errors that are detected when performing these checks are displayed on the data screen for the technicians. The IC610CHS124 power supply rack can also perform a partial error check for the programs at any time when the controller is in the RUN mode. When the users enter a program, a manual error check needs to be done to help the users to check the program completely. Using the programmer to enter the logic is part of the programming process.
