I/O Rack, 115/230 Vac Power Supply 10 slot GE Fanuc Series One Rack for Modules IC610CHS12
The IC610CHS120 rack is a 10-slot I/O power supply rack manufactured by GE Fanuc as part of the GE Series One product line. This rack has a power rating of 115 Volts AC or 230 Volts AC, and it also supports the AC/DC power connections to the terminal strip on the right-hand side of every unit. The recommended wire size for the power connections of this power supply is 18 AWG. For proper operation, the plastic cover placed over the strip should be removed and the hot wire should be connected to the top terminal. The neutral wire of the IC610CHS120 I/O power supply rack should be connected to the second or next terminal that is rated at 115 Volts AC operating voltage. However, it can also be connected to the third terminal found on the base unit that is rated at 230 Volts AC operating voltage.
For the 24 Volts DC rated racks, the users are advised to connect the positive and negative terminals to the DC power source. The top screw of the IC610CHS120 I/O power supply rack should not be used for the power connections because it supports connections before force is applied. It also protects the terminal block, and verifies and helps in connecting the earth's ground wire to the rack mounting bracket. The ground wire is usually a green wire from the AC power source. The unprotected wiring can be under the terminals' screw-down plate or protected by using sleeves or shrink tubing. The GE Fanuc IC610CHS120 I/O power supply rack features terminals with +24 Volts DC and -24 Volts DC labels that provide 24 Volts DC power at 100 milliamps of current to support connections to the external sensor.
