Technical Information

The IC610CHS114 rack is a 24 Volts DC power supply rack with 5 slots. GE Fanuc Automation manufactures it as part of the GE Series One product line. This 5-slot UL-listed rack has a power supply on the right side, and the slots can host a maximum of 5 modules. It has a power supply that requires an input power rating of 115 Volts AC, but it does not accept an input power rating of 230 Volts AC. The IC610CHS114 power supply rack comes with a terminal board with field wiring connections. The GE Fanuc IC610CHS114 rack has 2 top terminals for the 115 Volts AC hot connection and the neutral connection. The hot connection terminal is labeled “H” and the neutral connection terminal is labeled “N.” The other 2 terminals are designed for connecting the external devices to the RUN relay. These other two contacts, which are positive and negative, are intended to provide an output voltage of 24 Volts DC at 100 milliamps for the connection to the external sensor. There is also a bottom terminal, which is for connection to the expansion rack.

 

When the GE Fanuc Series One IC610CHS114 24 Volts DC power supply rack is used as the first rack in the sequence during the installation of a PLC, it requires the system’s CPU to be placed in the slot immediately next to the power supply. This rack can be used as the second rack or the third rack within the system if more inputs and outputs are required than those which can be contained in the first rack. The IC610CHS114 power supply rack has a 2-position switch that is found inside or to the left side of the rack, depending on the exact rack position in the system.
