Plus Data Communications Module Unit DCU GE Fanuc Series One IC610CCM1 IC610CCM10
The GE Fanuc IC610CCM105 module is a GE Fanuc Plus Data Communications Unit (DCU) that is manufactured as part of the GE Series One product line. The IC610CCM105 Data Communications Unit (DCU) is designed and intended to allow peripheral devices to connect to and communicate with the modules in the GE Series One, Model E Series One, Series One Plus, or the GE Series One Plus 3.7K programmable controllers. Some of the modules that require the IC610CCM105 Data Communication Unit (DCU) include Series One Model E modules, Series One Plus 3.7K controllers, and the Series One Plus modules. These devices are intended to work as the host device for the modules in the GE Series One as well as the GE Series One Plus controllers. These modules can also work as smart devices, programmable controllers, or computers.
The I/O information as well as the user programs in the GE Fanuc Series One or Series One Plus product lines, including the IC610CCM105 Data Communication Unit, can be downloaded/uploaded to and from any master device. Additionally, such a device must be compatible with and support the Series Six Version 2 Communications Control Module (CCM2) master or slave protocols according to the GEK-25364 manual, which is the manual for the Series Six Data Communications devices. On the other hand, the GE Fanuc Series One or the Series One Plus devices can only serve as the slave devices when the communications session is going on. Another Series One peripheral device that is often used is the printer interface devices, which interfaces to the various personal computer printers that are available and lets the users acquire the hard-copy printout of the user program either in a ladder diagram format or boolean format.
