The IC655MDL593 DC TTL Output Module is a 5 or 12 Volts DC rated positive logic output module that is designed by GE Fanuc. It comes with 64 circuits, 32 outputs, and 32 LED indicators. The output circuit type of the module is the NPN transistor type. It has 4 groups of output circuits and 16 circuits in each group. Some of the specifications of the device include 5 to 12 Volts DC of rated operating voltage, 16.5 Volts DC of peak voltage, 90 milliamps of maximum current at 15 Volts DC voltage, and 0.01 milliamps of rated leakage current. The IC655MDL593 DC TTL Output Module has 360 milliamps of typical internal power consumption at 5 Volts DC voltage.
The IC655MDL593 DC TTL Output Module has 32 status indicator LEDs at the logic side of the module. These visual indicators provide the status of each circuit and the “starting I/O address” for the module. This module belongs to the GE Series Five line of I/O modules. There are two 37-pin subminiature D-type connectors which are mounted on the front of the module for connecting the field wiring to the output loads. All the circuit groups can be powered from a single, common source or different sources with a 5 to 12 Volts DC rated power supply. During installation, make sure to disconnect the power from the base unit. The IC655MDL593 DC TTL Output Module can be installed in the selected slot in the base unit by firmly pushing it onto the base unit connectors until it is securely mated with the connector. It is advised to separate all the low-level signal wires from the field wiring and to separate the AC power wiring from the DC field wiring.
