115/230 Vac Output 32 points Card MDL577 Series Five Module GE IC655MDL5 IC655MDL57
The GE Fanuc IC655MDL577 output module comes with 32 output points for connecting to a variety of other devices in an industrial programmable logic controller or PLC system. It runs on AC voltage with a nominal voltage rating of either 115 Volts AC or 230 Volts AC. The IC655MDL577 output module has an output switching capacity rating of 1 Amp. All of the outputs feature their own LED indicators, but the first 16 of the LEDs on the module also have an additional function. These 16 LEDs can show the operators the output module’s starting I/O address when they are programmed to do so. There is a removable terminal block on the front of the IC655MDL577 output module, and this block is where all of the module’s connections are made.
The GE Fanuc IC655MDL577 output module has its 32 output circuits divided into 4 groups of 8. All 4 groups can be used at the same time, or just 1, 2, or 3 of them as the application requires. Each output group needs to have its own power source and these power sources must be supplied by the users. The output circuits are all triac output circuits. Each output point that is powered on will consume 18 milliamps of internal power at 5 Volts DC, while the total power consumption ratings of the output module are 580 milliamps typical and 640 milliamps maximum. All 4 of the output groups have a single hot connection point that is labeled as the “H” connection point.
