Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC655MDL526 input module is a 32-circuit input module. Each of the circuits on the IC655MDL526 input module is rated for 115 Volts AC and it can be connected to user input devices. Field wiring connections to the 32 inputs on the module are made through a terminal block. The terminal block can be removed easily and it is installed on the front of the IC655MDL526 input module. The input circuits are divided into 4 separate groups which are labeled as groups A, B, C, and D. The terminals for each circuit in a particular group are labeled with numbers from 1 to 8. Each group has a common neutral connection, labeled “N,” for all the 8 circuits in that group. The 4 groups can be powered from a single power source or from separate power sources.

 

The type of input circuit on the IC655MDL526 input module is AC. The input voltage range for the input circuits is from 80 to 132 Volts AC. The input circuits support line frequencies ranging from 48 to 63 Hertz. The users must supply a 115 Volts AC source for sensing the state of the inputs to the IC655MDL526 input module. The maximum open-circuit voltage which the input circuits can sustain is 132 Volts AC. At 115 Volts AC, the input current is 14.5 milliamps. The “on” and “off” level voltages for the input circuits are 80 Volts AC and 30 Volts AC, respectively. The minimum level of “on” state current is 5.5 milliamps. The rated response times for the off to on and on to off changes are 5 to 30 milliseconds and 10 to 50 milliseconds, respectively. The working temperature range for the IC655MDL526 module is from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
