Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC655MDL511 module is a 24 Volts AC/DC isolated input and positive logic module with 16 circuits which accept input from connected user devices. Each of the 16 circuits on the IC655MDL511 module has a separate common. Each of the 16 circuits is isolated from the other circuits relative to the power source. A 24 to 48 Volts DC or 24 to 48 Volts AC rated power source must be provided by the users to sense the state of the inputs connected to the IC655MDL511 module. Moreover, a single power source can be used to power all the circuits or a separate source can be used for each circuit. A separate LED is also provided on the module for displaying the operational state of each of the respective input circuits.

 

The operating voltage for each of the circuits on the IC655MDL511 module is 20 to 60 Volts AC or 20 to 60 Volts DC. The input circuits are rated for a maximum open circuit voltage of 60 Volts. The input current is 20 milliamps AC or DC. The on and off levels for the circuits are 20 Volts AC/DC and 5 Volts AC/DC, where the voltage is measured between the common and the input terminal. The minimum current to an active input circuit is 5 milliamps AC/DC. The maximum rated leakage current is 1 milliamps AC/DC. The off to on/on to off delay times are 5 to 30/10 to 50 milliseconds. The approximate shipping weight of the IC655MDL511 module is 700 grams.
