GE 12-24Vdc Input Negative Logic 32 points GE Series Five Module IC655MDL5 IC655MDL50
The GE Fanuc IC655MDL502 module is a 24 Volts DC negative logic module with 32 input circuits. At 60 degrees Celsius, 24 of the input circuits can be operational and at 50 degrees Celsius, all 32 input circuits can be operational. The approximate weight of the module is 750 grams. The operating temperature range is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. The maximum open circuit voltage for the circuits is 26.4 Volts DC and the typical operating range is 10.2 to 26.4 Volts DC. At 24 Volts DC, the input current to the circuits on the IC655MDL502 module is 10 milliamps. The 32 circuits are divided into 4 groups, with each group having a separate common. To sense the state of the inputs to the IC655MDL502 module, a 12 to 24 Volts DC power supply needs to be provided by the users.
The 4 groups of input circuits can be powered from separate sources or from the same source. The IC655MDL502 module also comes with 32 LEDs that display the off-state or on-state of the input circuits. Additionally, 16 of these LEDs can also be used to display the starting I/O address of the module. The wiring for the user devices connects to the removable terminal block on the IC655MDL502 module. The typical current consumed by the IC655MDL502 module is 130 milliamps and the maximum current consumed by the module is 150 milliamps. The IC655MDL502 module draws 4 milliamps per active input circuit. A circuit voltage of 6.5 Volts DC or greater is required for a circuit to be in the on-state. A circuit voltage of 4 Volts DC or less is required for a circuit to be in the off-state.
