The IC655APU521 module is an axis positioning module manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is part of the GE Series Five I/O module product line and it uses the latest technology. It helps in industrial automation applications. The axis positioning module allows for coupling between the load and the drive motors. It also helps to eliminate sudden acceleration and deceleration between components during high-speed operation. It also helps to increase the system reliability. The IC655APU521 axis positioning module is often used with linear stepper and servo motors. The positioning module is mounted on to the base module of the PLC system along with a controller. It can generate a position according to the command from the CPU module and output the position with the pulse train. It uses multiple axis control for different operations. The module offers a smooth accelerating capability to modern electronics equipment.

 

The IC655APU521 axis positioning module can detect speed and offer accurate control by using the counter triggered positioning and high speed pulse output. The front section of the positioning module has LED indicators that indicate different operations and the state of the module. It also shows the flow of power through the module. The module has an opening port that can be used to configure the module by using a programming terminal. The IC655APU521 axis positioning module has a side removable terminal that can open to access the DIP switch and other components. The installation and removal of the module is easy. The base unit should be fully disconnected from power during the installation process and it should be properly earthed. The maximum temperature should not exceed 60 degrees Celsius for regular operation.
