The GE Fanuc EP-7641 module is a power feed module for RSTi-EP systems. It can handle up to 18 Volts DC supply voltage and up to 10 Amps of current. This GE module is part of the power modules series.
The EP-7641 module is a power feed module from GE Fanuc. It has been designed and manufactured as part of the power modules series of modules from GE Fanuc. The EP-7641 power feed module is made for supporting output current paths. It refreshes these output current paths and isolates the power supply in an RSTi-EP system. The main power supply in the RSTi-EP system is fed into the EP-7641 power feed module through the system’s network adapter. This power feed module is used when the current demand of a series of output modules in the RSTi-EP system is too large. The EP-7641 power feed module can handle up to 10 Amps of feed-in through the 4-pole connector in the output current path.
The GE Fanuc EP-7641 power feed module is a passive type of module. Passive modules like power feed modules, slot filler modules, and potential distribution modules do not support fieldbus communication and they are not considered as part of the RSTi-EP system’s setup process because they do not have any effect on the system’s fieldbus communication. Three passive modules consisting of a power feed module like the EP-7641 power feed module, a potential distribution module, and a slot filler or empty slot module can be installed in succession in the system, but the 4th module in such a succession needs to be an active module. The supply voltage for the EP-7641 power feed module should be less than 18 Volts DC. This module has 2 green LED indicators that will light up when less than 18 Volts DC is supplied to the input current path, and a red LED indicator that will light up when the supply voltage is over 18 Volts DC.
