The EP-711F Power Module is a PACSystems potential distribution module made by GE Fanuc. It comes with 16 channels and it is rated for 24 Volts DC voltage. This passive module supports DIN Rail mounting.

The EP-711F Power Module belongs to the RSTi-EP family of potential distribution modules that are manufactured by GE Fanuc. It comes with 24 Volts DC rated supply voltage from the input current path. The EP-711F Power Module provides terminal strips for adding up to 16 connections for power I/O, ground, and earth devices. It can be used in industrial internet applications. It features plug-and-play connectivity, high channel density, and enhanced diagnostics. Its high-speed system bus can read up to 256 digital I/O in 20 milliseconds. The EP-711F Power Module can accommodate up to 64 modules and several I/O points. It can be monitored in real-time easily without using any software. It can quickly determine the I/O health by using its advanced diagnostic facilities.

 

The GE Fanuc EP-711F Power Module has an approximate weight of 84 grams. It features 16 total channels, a variety of interface supports, DIN Rail mounting hardware, and system redundancy. The EP-711F Power Module is not considered in a field bus system configuration process because it does not support field bus communication. Some of the module features include spring-style technology for easy and efficient field wiring and double-click installation for safe and reliable installation. This module must be installed on a horizontally positioned DIN Rail for most applications, although vertical mounting is sometimes supported. The system redundancy type for this EP-711F Power Module is the PNSR type. Some of the interfaces supported by this module include the PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Modbus TCP, and EtherCAT interfaces.
