The EP-710F Power Module is a potential distribution module designed by GE Fanuc. It has 16 channels, a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC, and an approximate weight of 84 grams. This passive module has PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and Modbus TCP interface support.
The EP-710F Power Module is a 16-channel, 24 Volts DC rated potential distribution module made by GE Fanuc. It supports DIN Rail mounting and it uses stranded or solid wires for the field wiring. The EP-710F Power Module is a passive type of module. The supply voltage rating of the module is 0 Volts from the input current path. When the EP-710F Power Module is installed, it is recommended to install an active module next to this passive potential distribution module. However, it can be combined with a maximum of 3 passive modules, such as an empty slot module or a power-feed module in a system. The user must allow 10 seconds after powering the module down to de-energize the module completely before starting any maintenance work on it. The EP-710F Power Module comes with 16 channels. It supports a range of interfaces such as the PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Modbus TCP, and EtherCAT interfaces.
The GE Fanuc EP-710F Power Module has a user-friendly and compact design. Some of the module's main features include a small module footprint, improved system availability, easy troubleshooting, a wide range of communication options, and an industrial grade protection rating. The I/O channels of the module can all be switched off independently. The EP-710F Power Module comes with one of the best industry-rated I/O module densities. Its compact and robust structure reduces the amount of cabinet space that it needs for installation. It can transfer data with precision and at high speed. The EP-710F Power Module weighs 84 grams. It does not support field bus communication. It is recommended to use wires with crimped wire-end ferrules or ultrasonically welded wires for the field wiring for this module. This module does not need additional components to make an easy and secure connection to the input/output power and earth sources.
