The GE Fanuc EP-700F module is a potential distribution module that supports functional earth. It is part of the GE power modules series. Its nominal voltage rating is 24 Volts DC and its supply voltage rating is 20.4 to 28.8 Volts.
The EP-700F module is a GE Fanuc potential distribution module for functional earth. This module is part of the GE Fanuc power modules product line. It is meant to be used in a variety of industrial automation applications. The EP-700F potential distribution module has a spring connection mechanism with a green pusher and FE potential, but this module must never be used for PE. The spring connection mechanism on the module creates an electrical connection to the DIN Rail that the module is installed on. The EP-700F potential distribution module comes with 16 channels and a nominal voltage rating of 24 Volts DC. These 16 channels provide 16 different connections for the functional earth in a system.
The GE Fanuc EP-700F potential distribution module for functional earth is a passive type of module. This means that it does not have any support for fieldbus communication and that it is not considered during the configuration process of the system because it will not affect the fieldbus communication in any way. Other kinds of passive modules include power feed modules and empty slot modules, and up to 3 different passive field modules like the EP-700F potential distribution module, a power feed module, and an empty slot module can be installed in a row within a modular sequence, but the 4th module in the sequence must be some type of active module or the sequence will be non-functional. The EP-700F potential distribution module’s supply voltage rating is from 20.4 to 28.8 Volts. Its operating temperature range is -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and its storage temperature range is -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
