The GE Fanuc EPXPNS101 module is a Profinet module for system redundancy. It mounts on a DIN Rail. The EPXPNS101 module supports S-2 Profinet system redundancy and S-1 Profinet simplex system redundancy.
The GE Fanuc EPXPNS101 adapter module is an RSTi-EP Profinet network adapter for system redundancy. It supports S-2 Profinet system redundancy and S-1 Profinet simplex system redundancy. The module acts as a head module for the system bus on the RSTi-EP network, and 64 active modules can be connected to it. It is designed for mounting on a DIN Rail. The high-speed system bus is capable of reading up to 256 digital inputs and/or digital outputs in 20 milliseconds. The module supports double-click installation for quick and easy correct installation. An integrated web server allows for the extraction of diagnostics information and firmware update through the micro USB port or through the Ethernet ports. Star, daisy chain, line, and ring topologies are supported by the EPXPNS101 adapter module. The protective housing of the module is IP 20 rated.
The operating temperature range for the EPXPNS101 adapter module is -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The storage temperature range is -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The permissible relative humidity range is 5 to 95% without condensation according to the DIN EN 61131-2 standards. The dimensions of the EPXPNS101 adapter module are 120 x 52 x 76 millimeters.
