The EP-2714 module is a GE Fanuc digital relay output module with 4 discrete outputs and 2 wire connections with positive logic. Its operating voltage range is 20.4 to 28.8 Volts and its output current rating is 6 Amps per channel and 24 Amps per module.
The EP-2714 output module is a digital relay output module from Emerson and GE Fanuc that is manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms. The module is intended to be used in conjunction with the RSTi-EP distributed I/O system to provide industry-leading long-life, high-density, and high-performance control solutions that are simple to configure, use, and upgrade. The EP-2174 output module has 4 discrete outputs, each with a maximum output current rating of 6 Amps. Each output has a potential-free changeover (CO) contact. The EP-2174 output module has a voltage rating of 24 to 220 Volts AC/DC and a maximum current output per module of 24 Amps. The maximum switching frequency is 5 Hertz, its input response time is 20 milliseconds, and the system bus transfer rate is 48 Mbps. Since the module lacks built-in short circuit protection, it is recommended that 6-Amp external fuses be installed.
The GE Fanuc EP-2714 digital relay output module needs 20.4 to 28.8 Volts supply voltage to operate. The relay coils of the module receive power from the output current path, which has a current consumption rating of 20 milliamps. The operating temperature range of the relay module is from -20 to 60 degrees Celsius, and because the relay is susceptible to wear, appropriate maintenance should be performed at regular intervals to ensure that it does not exceed the prescribed temperature limits. The enclosure of the module is IP 20 rated and conforms to the DIN EN 60529 standard. The EP-2174 output module can be used in a potentially explosive atmosphere, but condensation must always be avoided. This unit's standout features include its plug-and-play functionality, small footprint, compact design, easy error diagnosis options, simple maintenance, and expandability.
