The GE Fanuc EP-2634 module is an RSTi-EP digital output module with switchable Logic (Positive or Negative Logic). Its supply voltage ranges from 20.4 to 28.8 Volts. It has a thermal switch-off feature and it is short-circuit-proof.
The GE Fanuc EP-2634 output module is a digital output module that has 4 discrete outputs each with a maximum current output of 2 Amps per channel. It is intended for use with the RSTi-EP remote I/O system, which can accommodate up to 64 modules, and it is designed for industrial internet applications. The EP-2634 digital output module features switchable logic, so it supports both Positive and Negative Logic. This output module requires a supply voltage range between 20.4 and 28.8 Volts. The current consumption rating of the module from the system current path (ISYS) is 8 milliamps and it is 20 milliamps from the output current path. Each connector on the connection frame of the module can connect up to 4 wires. The spring style technology allows the wires to be easily installed through the opening in the clamp terminal with the help of the color-coded pushers.
The GE Fanuc EP-2634 digital output module's front side includes 4 discrete outputs, each of which can be connected to a different connector in a 2, 3, or 4-wire configuration. Each channel has an LED indicator that shows the status of the channel. The module is short-circuit-proof, which protects it from external voltage levels ranging from 0 Volts to the rated operating voltage. In the event of a short circuit, the module restarts itself. The EP-2634 digital output module is notable for its small size, because it weighs only 86 grams and measures 120 x 11.5 x 76 millimeters (H x W x D). The module's small size, plug-and-play installation support, and ability to be mounted on a DIN Rail make it easy to install in a tight cabinet space.
