The GE Fanuc EP-2614 module is a digital output module used with the RSTi-EP network adapter. Its output current rating is 2 Amps at 24 Volts DC per channel, and 8 Amps per module. It is hot-swappable and it features a plug-and-play connection.

The EP-2614 output module is a digital output module manufactured by GE (General Electric). It is a 4-point digital output module with positive logic which connects to and is powered by the RSTi-EP network adapter. It is a high-density, lightweight module with support for 2 to 4-wire connections in a row, and it is mainly used to incorporate decentralized actuators. It has a current output rating of 2 Amps at 24 Volts DC per channel, 8 Amps per module, and its supply voltage range is 20.4 to 28.8 Volts DC. It has a resistive load switching frequency of 1 Kilohertz and an inductive load switching frequency of 1 Hertz and 0.2 Hertz with and without a free-wheeling diode, respectively. The EP-2614 module offers short-circuit protection with its thermal switch-off and automatic restart functions in the event of a short circuit for ensuring maximum system safety.

 

The EP-2614 output module is designed for industrial automation and a decentralized setting. It is intended for DC-13 discrete outputs that meet the specifications of the DIN EN 60947-5-1 and IEC 61131-2 standards. The module can be easily mounted on a DIN Rail in conjunction with an RSTi-EP station. The module operates at an extended temperature range of -20 to +60 degrees Celsius. It is a compact device with dimensions of 11.5 millimeters in width, 76 millimeters in depth, and 120 millimeters in height, and it weighs 86 grams, making it hot-swap capable and easy to use. It features plug-and-play installation support and improved diagnostics. The LED indicators on the unit display the module's status, and the green LED indicates communication on the system bus, while the yellow LED means that there is a diagnostic fault. The EP-2614 digital output module is compatible with PROFINET, Profibus, Modbus TCP, and EtherCAT network adapters
