The GE Fanuc Automation EP-2218 output module includes 8 digital outputs that operate with a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC. This device comes with technology that enables each output to receive power independently. It supplies multiple networks to output equipment.

The EP-2218 output module is an output device that has been included in the PACSystems series of digital I/O devices, specifically the RSTi-EP division. This device has been designed by GE Fanuc Automation. This output module has also been designed to operate with machine control, light process control, and general automation applications. It comes with an enhanced level of diagnostics features that enable it to show the current status of operation and the status of the outputs. This output module comes with a special HotSwap mechanism that makes the installation process easier because it allows the module to be inserted and removed safely while under power. The GE Fanuc Automation EP-2218 output module supports different industrial and automation networks such as the PROFINET, PROFIBUS DP, Modbus/TCP, EtherCAT, and Ethernet/IP networks.

 

The GE Fanuc Automation EP-2218 PACSystems digital output module comes with 8 total digital outputs that all operate with positive logic and that all require a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC and have a current consumption rating of 24 Volts DC during normal operation. This device provides a high level of reliable performance and it supports the PROFINET System Redundancy (PNSR) technology which increases the availability of the device in different systems and applications. The GE Fanuc Automation EP-2218 output device has a compact design that has been engineered for it to be able to support the industry's best and most efficient I/O density. This device occupies less space than other I/O modules since its design has been improved and streamlined.
