The EP-1902 input module is a safe input module that is meant to be connected to industrial equipment to keep the equipment and its operations safe. This module has been designed by GE Fanuc Automation and it is fully compatible with equipment from the PACSystems series. This input module comes with 2 safe inputs with 2 channels each and it operates with a transfer rate of 48 Mbits per second. This module has been designed to provide an internet connection to the safety equipment included in standard automation applications. The GE Fanuc Automation EP-1902 safe input module has been designed to process and diagnose data. This data diagnosis is helpful for controlling the module since it enables the operators to look for and solve failures remotely without needing to be in the same place as the module.

 

The GE Fanuc Automation EP-1902 safe input module comes with a diagnostic coverage rating of 96.64 percent and a mean time to failure rating of more than 100 years.
