The EP-153F module is an input device that has been designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation. This specific device has been included in the RSTi Digital Inputs series and it is fully compatible with the PACSystems devices. This system has been created to add new dimensions to the industrial control and automation industry by providing production optimization equipment with monitoring capabilities included for the widest range of application processes. This equipment has been designed to operate in discrete industrial environments. The GE Fanuc Automation EP-153F input module itself has been designed to be installed on a DIN Rail. This device comes with an IP 20 rated enclosure that provides overall protection against contact with external particles. This device can operate in an extended temperature range of -20 to 60 degrees Celsius. The main purpose of this device is to provide an internet connection to multiple devices in one system.
The network interfaces provided by the GE Fanuc Automation EP-153F input module are the Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, EtherCAT, PROFINET, and PROFIBUS DP network interfaces, among others.
