The GE Fanuc EP-12F4 Remote I/O Module has been designed to operate in controlled environments that do not exceed the specifications of its IP 20 rated housing. This device comes with 4 inputs that can be fully controlled and that operate with a speed of 3 milliseconds. This device can be mounted on a DIN Rail and used with basic machinery.
The EP-12F4 Module is a Remote I/O Module that belongs to the RSTi-EP Digital Inputs series by GE Fanuc Automation. This input device is ideal for use in industrial applications that require a connection to the internet. This device can be integrated with PACSystems devices. It comes with a compact design that provides a high level of performance while occupying half the space that a regular input-output module occupies. This device also provides remote and real-time diagnostics. The GE Fanuc EP-12F4 Remote I/O Module comes with 4 inputs that operate with positive logic and that are completely configurable, including their timestamps. These inputs operate at a speed of 3 milliseconds. This device requires a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC to operate and on/off voltages of 11 Volts DC and 5 Volts DC, respectively.
The GE Fanuc EP-12F4 Remote I/O Module operates with the Profinet, Profibus DP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, and DeviceNet protocols. This device does not come with the hot swap mechanism that is included in the PACSystems devices. To have a safe installation, the voltage needs to be removed while mounting the device and connecting it to the power and signal sources. This device comes with an IP 20 rated housing that makes it capable of withstanding temperatures from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. The GE Fanuc EP-12F4 Remote I/O Module is mostly used with basic machines. It includes LED indicators that show the overall status of inputs and the network that is being used at the moment.
