The EP-3704 Analog Input Module is a 4-channel analog thermocouple module from the GE RSTi-EP I/O module system. This module offers 4 non-isolated temperature resistance inputs. Each input comes with 16 bits of resolution.
The GE Fanuc EP-3704 Analog Input Module is a 4-channel analog thermocouple input module from the RSTi-EP I/O module system. This module has 4 analog resistance inputs that are capable of detecting data from analog resistance thermometers. Each input circuit has 16 bits of resolution, and this module can be connected to a sensor in a 2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire configuration. The EP-3704 Analog Input Module supports mixed operation with different sensors as well as different wire connections simultaneously. The sensor type, as well as the temperature range, can be assigned by using the parameterization method. The EP-3704 Analog Input Module has an LED status indicator for every input channel. The EP-3704 Analog Input Module’s input circuits are protected from overcurrent and overvoltage surges via a resetting fuse. This fuse provides protection from voltages that exceed 30 Volts DC and which may damage the module. The EP-3704 Analog Input Module also provides both module and individual channel diagnosis with channel-related error messages that are sent to a CPU.
Each of the GE Fanuc EP-3704 Analog Input Module’s inputs supports Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni120, Ni 200, Ni500, Ni1000, Cu10, 40 Ohms, 80 Ohms, 150 Ohms, 300 Ohms, 500 Ohms, 1 Kiloohm, 2 Kiloohms, or 4 Kiloohms sensor types. The EP-3704 Analog Input Module has a maximum accuracy rating of 0.3% FSR for nickel sensors and 0.6% FSR for copper sensors. The EP-3704 Analog Input Module accepts 0.75 milliamps of current from the Pt100, Ni100, Ni120, Cu10, 40 Ohms, 80 Ohms, 150 Ohms, or 300 Ohms sensors and 0.25 milliamps of current from the Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni200, Ni500, Ni1000, 500 Ohms, 1 Kiloohms, 2 Kiloohms, or 4 Kiloohms sensors. The EP-3704 Analog Input Module has an operating voltage range of 20.4 Volts DC to 28.8 Volts DC and a maximum current rating of 8 milliamps (from the system current paths).
