The General Electric EP-3468 Analog Input Module is an 8-channel, 16-bits analog input module from the GE modular RSTi system. This module comes with 8 non-isolated inputs. It can detect 0 to 20 milliamps or 4 to 20 milliamps rated signal level.
The GE Fanuc EP-3468 Analog Input Module is an 8-channel and 16-bits rated analog input module from the GE modular RSTi system. The EP-3468 Analog Input Module is designed to detect up to 8 analog input sensors with 0 to 20 milliamps or 4 to 20 milliamps rated signals. It has a 16-bit input resolution per channel, and external input sensors can be connected in a 2-wire or 3-wire connection. The EP-3468 Analog Input Module defines the input measurement range by using the parameterization method, and it is capable of supplying connected sensors with power from the input current path. The EP-3468 Analog Input Module comes with protected inputs which are protected against voltage surges above 30 Volts DC or over current surges that may damage the module. Each input circuit is protected with a self-resetting fuse against over-current. The EP-3468 Analog Input Module also provides individual channel diagnosis with channel-related error messages, process data, and parameters that are sent to the CPU.
The GE Fanuc EP-3468 Analog Input Module is designed to interface with the GE RSTi-EP common Fieldbus system with a maximum transmission rate of 48 Megabits per second (Mbps). The EP-3468 Analog Input Module’s 8 non-isolated 16-bits input channels each have a maximum accuracy rating of 0.1% FSR at 25 degrees Celsius and a maximum conversion time of 1 millisecond. The EP-3468 Analog Input Module has an operating voltage range of 20.4 to 28.8 Volts DC and a maximum rated backplane current draw of 20 milliamps. The EP-3468 Analog Input Module offers useful built-in diagnostic capabilities, and it comes with individually labelled LEDs that show the status of each input channel during operation.
