The EP-3164 module is an analog input module from GE Fanuc that has 4 input channels and 16 bits of resolution per channel. It requires 24 Volts DC (+20% to -15%) supply voltage that is delivered via the system bus. The conversion time is 1 millisecond.
The EP-3164 input module is an analog input module developed by GE Fanuc. It has 4 input channels and a resolution of 16 bits per channel. Each input module like the EP-3164 input module has 4 connection frames that can take up to 4 connectors and each connector can have a two-wire, three-wire, or four-wire connection. The spring-style technology in the EP-RSTi input module allows different types of wires to be easily inserted through clamping ports without the use of any tools. Furthermore, the wire connectors on the EP-3164 input module have color-coded pushers to make wiring easier, and these ports are white for signal wiring, blue for GND (ground) wiring, red for the 24 Volts DC voltage wiring, and green for the FE (functional earth) wiring.
The GE Fanuc EP-3164 input module is powered by 24 Volts DC (+20% to -15%) supply voltage that is delivered via the system bus. The 4 analog sensors on the EP-3164 input module have voltage ratings of 0 to 5 Volts, +/-5 Volts, 0 to 10 Volts, +/-10 Volts, 1 to 5 Volts, or 2 to 10 Volts and current ratings of 0 to 20 milliamps or 4 to 20 milliamps. The sensor has a total maximum current supply of 8 Amps, with each plug receiving 2 Amps of current each. The input conversion time is 1 millisecond, its accuracy is 0.1% FSR (Force Sensitive Resistor), and the internal resistance ratings are 100 Kiloohms and 41.2 Ohms in the voltage mode and current mode, respectively. The inputs of the module are protected against reverse polarity, short circuits, and voltage surges. The module's protective circuit has a fast response time of less than 50 milliseconds. The operating temperature range of the EP-3164 input module is between -20 and +60 degrees Celsius while its storage temperature is between -40 to +85 degrees Celsius.
