The GE Fanuc EP-8100 device is a swivel marker for RSTi-EP I/O modules. It connects to a frame on the module that it can rotate or swivel on, and it displays a paper label marker with information about the module. The paper label inside the swivel marker can be replaced when necessary.

The EP-8100 device is a swivel marker or an RSTi-EP I/O label marker. It has been designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc as part of the Accessories catalog for the GE RSTi-EP series I/O devices. The EP-8100 swivel marker is used as an identification label for the channels in a module and for modules as a whole and it allows the channels and the modules to be labeled in detail to make them easy to identify, use, and diagnose. It has plenty of space available for detailed marking and information, which is essential for safety and efficiency in any industrial application or system. The EP-8100 swivel marker is meant to be attached to the connector frame of the module that it is being used with.

 

The GE Fanuc RSTi-EP EP-8100 I/O swivel label marker from the Accessories catalog is meant to be installed by being snapped into place on the connector frame of the RSTi-EP I/O module that it is being used with. It is designed to swivel on a hinge on the connector frame, which is why it is known as a swivel marker. After the EP-8100 I/O swivel marker has been attached securely to the module connector frame, the label marker that it will display can be inserted. This label marker is made of white or yellow paper and it is meant to be inserted into the EP-8100 I/O swivel marker from below. The paper label marker can be laser printed and it can easily be replaced and updated inside the swivel marker as necessary.
