The Eaton Cutler-Hammer S811R13N3S motor soft starter is part of the S811 series of Eaton soft starters. It can operate with a current rating of up to 135 Amperes and a voltage range of 200-600 Volts AC. The S811R13N3S soft starter can operate safely in a variety of industrial environments, and it has a shock resistance rating of 15g and a bypass mechanical lifespan rating of 10 million cycles. This soft starter is a standalone soft starter that can accelerate and decelerate industrial 3-phase AC-powered motors. The S811R13N3S soft starter is housed in a compact enclosure with approximate dimensions of 4.42 inches by 7.92 inches by 6.64 inches, and it includes overload protection and thermal protection features. This soft starter also supports real-time diagnostics and parameter adjustment through its digital interface module. This interface incorporates an LCD screen, 3 arrow buttons for menu navigation, an escape button (ESC), and start/stop control buttons. Users can access alarm messages, modify application process parameters, enable or disable protection features, configure communication settings, and monitor voltage and power data values for the soft starter through this interface. Moreover, the entire user interface can be detached from the S811R13N3S soft starter and mounted on a control cabinet door for convenient access. This soft starter can use a voltage ramp start, current limit start, or kick start option to start the connected motor. Users can adjust the S811R13N3S soft starter’s time to anywhere between 0.5 and 180 seconds according to their application requirements. Additionally, the S811R13N3S is equipped with auxiliary contacts for status indication. Terminals 13 and 14 indicate bypass conditions, while terminals 95 and 96/98 convey alarm conditions.
