DVT Cognex SmartLink Display Driver
The DVT SL driver is a smart link display driver manufactured by Cognex DVT. This CE certified display driver is powered with a 24 Volts power supply. It comes with a current rating of 210 milliamps and it is used with DVT sensors. It is used to expand the capabilities of the sensor. It helps to create a monitoring system that can inspect images and application-specific information. The front section of the smart link unit has a connection point for the voltage supply. Along with it, there is a “Video Out” port. The video port has screw tighteners to hold it securely in place. The DVT SL driver has both an Ethernet RJ 45 port and an RS 232 port for internal network and communication connections. The RJ 45 port has an LED indicator that blinks for network activity. A status indicator is present on the top of the device that shows the running status of the unit. It illuminates and blinks when an activity occurs. The smart link unit can be mounted using the 4 M4 threaded holes on the back side.
The DVT SL Cognex DVT smart link display driver comes with a serial adapter that converts the RJ 12 connector to a female connector that helps the display driver to connect with a personal computer, and it also comes with a Serial RJ 12 cable that helps the driver to support RS 232 communication. The Ethernet RJ 45 cable is used for Ethernet communication and it has a twisted pair cable. The DVT SL Cognex DVT smart link display driver can be configured by using the smartlink firmware and a computer. The DVT SL display driver has dimensions of 52 x 121 x 105 millimeters. It supports both color and monochrome monitors with different screen resolutions.
