Cognex DVT LEGEND 554M NO LGT. Note: Legend 554 Hi-Res SmartImage Sensor
The DVT 554M Cognex Vision Camera (built without a custom light) is a high-resolution camera built for “machine vision” applications. The DVT 554M Camera is designed for quality maintenance in manufacturing, for collecting production data, and for providing imaging data at every application level. It features high-speed image processing via a digital signal processor (DSP) chip, and high-resolution grayscale Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) imaging at a maximum resolution of 1280 by 1024 pixels. The DVT 554M Vision Sensor Camera can detect even the tiniest information such as small pinholes, streaks, stains, scratches, and bubbles on a surface. The information captured by the DVT-554M Camera is either device-level data for a PLC to process or process-level statistical process control data, and it is sent as either 2-state data (PASS/FAIL) signals or as specific position feedback information to a controller.
The DVT 554M Camera requires a 24 Volts DC power supply for operation. It has a maximum current rating of 300 milliamps at 24 Volts DC and a power rating of 7 Watts. It comes with a built-in 128 MB flash memory for data and application storage, and also a 16 MM Random Access Memory (RAM) for application processing. All of the camera parameters are configured by using the highly intuitive, Windows-based Intellect software that is version 1.3 or above. The DVT 554M Camera has an RJ-45 Ethernet port that can be used for the Ethernet and the TCP/IP and UDP/IP communication protocol with a PC or laptop running the Intellect version 1.3 or later software. The DVT-554M Camera has an RJ-45 digital I/O port and a power connector for connecting to a DVT breakout board.
