Technical Information

The DVT 554C Smart Vision Camera is a color smart imaging sensor camera from the DVT 554 high-speed, high-resolution vision system. The DVT 554C Camera is built for quality control applications in manufacturing processes across and it carries out its application by collecting production information at every application level. The DVT 554C Smart Imaging Camera captures high-resolution data as either device-level data or as process-level Statistical Process Control (SPC) data. This data can then be transmitted to the PLC or a motion controller as either a 2-state (PASS or FAIL) signal or as specific position feedback data. The DVT 554C Smart Vision Camera features high-speed processing (up to 6x greater than that of the DVT 515 Camera) and high-resolution CCD imaging in color graphics with a standard resolution of 1280 by 1024 pixels.

 

The DVT 554C Smart Vision Camera features all the functionalities of the standard DVT 554 grayscale camera in addition to its color recognition feature that is available in all major color modes for versatile applications in the factory environment. The DVT 554C Smart Vision Camera is powered by a 24 Volts DC power source, which supplies 300 milliamps of current rating at 5 Volts DC and total power consumption of 7 Watts. It comes with a 16-MB RAM for application processing and 128 MB of Flash memory for application storage. The DVT 554C Smart Vision Camera is configured with the Intellect software, a Windows-based software that provides an easy-to-use interface for application programming. The DVT 554C Smart Vision Camera has an RJ-45 digital I/O and power connector, and an RJ-45 Ethernet connector that connects to a PC running the Intellect software.
