The product code DVT 545MR is the product code for one of the sensors that is used in high-end industrial systems. This Cognex DVT vision sensor includes red light SmartImage technology and it is part of the Cognex Legend series. This sensor comes in a high-quality casing that is bright yellow and it carries a CE marking to show that it meets several industrial standards. The DVT 545MR sensor features 4x the speed of previous models and a grayscale CCD with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The sensor has a high-speed processor and it has advanced capabilities for inspection applications. Other sensors from the series are available with different speeds and with different CCD resolutions to meet different application requirements.
The DVT 545MR vision sensor has long exposure times and it is capable of acquiring high-resolution images. This sensor has small dimensions of 112 x 60 x 30 millimeters (4.4 x 2.3 x 1.1 inches) without a lens or spectrograph. The DVT 545MR sensor operates best in environments with non-condensing humidity levels and its specified operating temperature range is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius (32 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit). The DVT 545MR sensor is designed to be connected to a 24 Volts DC power source with a current of 300 milliamps. The power consumption of the sensor is up to 7.5 Watts. The optics of the sensors feature standard CS mounting options and they can be C mounted too with the right equipment. The DVT 545MR sensor provides 16 MB of flash memory for consistent data that cannot be lost if the power is lost. In addition to that, the RAM capacity of the sensor is 64 MB.
