DVT LEGEND 544 Cognex NO LGT. Note: Legend 544 Hi-Res SmartImage Sensor
The Legend Series DVT 544 Machine Vision Sensor Camera is a product of Cognex Corporation that has been designed for quality assurance by the manufacturer and that can provide the users with information about missing parts, codes, and other items. It measures 4.8 by 3.6 millimeters. The DVT 544 Machine Vision Sensor Camera has 4 times the speed of the basic 515 version and it has a resolution of 480 by 640 pixels and CCD grayscale graphics. It is designed to carry out more complex detection applications while still maintaining its high speed of operation. The sensor is able to turn on and off electronically with a shutter rate ranging between 10 microseconds and 1 second which fits into the global electronic shutter threshold exposure time requirements.
The Legend Series DVT 544 Machine Vision Sensor Camera uses the TCP/IP communications protocol but it can also run on UDP/IP and it is able to establish communication with any Windows 2000 or XP operating system. There are installed network drivers to support the Ethernet Network Card. Multiple DVT 544 Machine Vision Sensor Cameras can be connected since there is an Ethernet hub with a full duplex 10/100 megabits setup. Although this device does not have 5X5 part numbers, it is still possible to connect crossover cabling for the Ethernet directly to the vision sensor by using RJ-45 connectors to run between the PC and the camera. This type of camera comes with an automatic IP address which can always be modified to a compatible number with both the LAN and the computer. This device allows the user to set parameter tools easily.
