Technical Information

The catalog number DVT 540MR is the catalog number for an industrial sensor that can be integrated with many machine systems that must operate at a high level. This DVT vision sensor is manufactured by Cognex and it comes with a red light. The sensor is based on SmartImage sensor technology. The DVT 540MR sensor is a DVT Cognex Legend sensor model that features various input and output functions. As part of the digital I/O configuration, the sensor has input functions like the product selection, inspection trigger, digital relearn, external trigger mode, and the event counter functions. Additionally, the sensor also has output functions like the strobe, fail, pass, select pass, and the select fail functions.

 

The DVT 540MR sensor comes with software that has a wide spectrum of features and the users can send and receive data through digital I/O lines. The unit offers a selection of different operational modes and it provides support for different types of communication. The DVT 540MR Cognex Legend sensor is equipped with grayscale CCD with a display resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Some of the DVT sensors from the series are offered with displays with resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels. The CCD size or minimum lens format of the sensor is 4.8 x 3.6 millimeters (1/3 inch). The supported memory size is 64 MB for the RAM and 16 MB for the flash memory. The DVT 540MR sensor has a speed of up to 4x the speed of older sensor models and it is intended for DC power sources with an input voltage rating of 24 Volts DC.
