COGNEX DVT 535 VISION SYSTEM SENSOR
The DVT 535 sensor is a vision system sensor manufactured by Cognex. This CE certified device meets different environmental and industrial standards. It is compact and portable. It comes with a 55-millimeter Computar Telecentric LP 630 lens. A grayscale CCD with a resolution of 640 x 480 is also included. The vision sensor comes with 64 MB of RAM and 16 MB of flash storage. The sensor is used for measuring data, gathering data, and providing information about machines and their operation in industrial automation systems. The information part of the sensor is used for collecting inspective values and sending them to the PLC for processing. The information from the sensor is transmitted as a “PASS” or “FAIL” message. There are LED indicators on the side of the sensor that illuminate when there is a “PASS” or “FAIL” event. The DVT 535 sensor offers an increase in system performance and has superior image quality. The bottom of the vision sensor is equipped with RJ 45 and RS 232 connector ports for internal communications.
The Cognex DVT 535 vision system sensor is an upgraded version of the older DVT 515 sensor model that is made to operate with greater precision. The camera on the newer 535 sensor is better and it has a 2x faster operating speed than the 515 model. The sensor is equipped with smart software that can set up an inspection function and programmable tools to accommodate the needs of the users. The DVT 535 sensor can be easily mounted by using the 4 M4 threaded holes that are found on the back of the sensor unit. The holes have a depth of 7.9 millimeters. The environmental temperature should be set between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius for regular operation.
