DVT LEGEND 530MR Cognex RED LGT. Note: Legend 530 SmartImage Sensort, 8 Channel
The DVT 530MR image sensor is a Legend Series 500 image sensor which is designed for industrial machine vision applications. The DVT 530MR image sensor is based on a grayscale CCD imager which provides a 640 x 480 resolution. The format of the CCD on the sensor is 1/3 inches and the CCD size is 4.8 x 3.6 millimeters. In addition to the 50-millimeter cable clearance, the DVT 530MR measures 112 x 60 x 30 millimeters in dimensions and it weighs 170 grams (without the lens). Four threaded M4 holes, each with a depth of 7.9 millimeters, are provided on the back of the unit for mounting. A regulated and isolated 24 Volts DC supply (sold separately) is required for powering up the unit. The current drawn by an operating DVT 530MR image sensor is 210 milliamps.
The typical power consumption of the DVT 530MR image sensor is 5 Watts, which can increase by an additional 30 Watts if an LED array is used. The power supply used for the device must be capable of providing this additional amount of power to the LEDs. The temperature of the air around an operating DVT 530MR image sensor must not be allowed to exceed 122 degrees Fahrenheit. For best performance, the ambient temperature should be kept between 32 and 113 degrees Fahrenheit. The exposure times on the DVT 530MR image sensor can be configured for values ranging from a minimum of 10 microseconds to a maximum of 1 second. A 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port with an RJ-45 jack is provided for network communication. A separate 10-pin RJ-45 port is also provided for power and digital I/O connections. This image sensor is CE certified.
