DVT Cognex LEGEND 530 NO LGT. Note: Legend 530 SmartImage Sensor

Technical Information

The DVT 530 Sensor Camera made by the Cognex Corporation as part of the Legend 500 series. This camera has 6 times the processing speed of the basic Cognex 515 camera and it is useful in measuring different parameters, comparing images, sensing the presence or absence of devices, and communicating with controllers. The reporting of the information gathered by this camera is made easier and more accurate with an Ethernet connection with automation devices and personal computers. The DVT 530 Sensor Camera is the fastest DTV sensor available. It features a grayscale imaging CCD with 640 by 480 resolution. This DVT Vision Sensor Camera uses the Intellect programming software for detecting if machine parts are present or absent, detecting where machine parts are, detecting errors and flows, making accurate estimations, scanning 1D and 2D codes, and working with programmable apparatuses to meet different client needs.

The DVT 530 Sensor Camera needs a 24 Volts DC power supply that is sold separately. It needs 210 milliamps of current for the 520 and 530 frameworks (equivalent to 5 Watts) or 300 milliamps of current for working with other Legend series devices (equivalent to 7.5 Watts) If DVT LED lights are utilized, an extra 30 Watts of power is required per LED array. This device has 8 configurable current sinking inputs rated at 24 Volts DC, and it can handle dynamic high signals. The data sources can sink up to 1.5 milliamps of current. The ideal operating temperature range for the camera is from 0 to 45 degrees Celsius and the absolute maximum operating temperature is 50 degrees Celsius in an environment with non-condensing humidity, making it suitable for nearly all industrial environmental conditions. The DVT 530 Sensor Camera is CS mountable, although the required mounting adapter is sold separately.
