Beijer Electronics engineered and built the iX-T7A graphic touch interface. This device is a human-machine interface (HMI) device that provides a visual and interactive interaction between operators and industrial automation systems. It has a power profile of 6 watts, an input internal DC fuse (5 x 20 millimeters), and uses an input voltage of 24 volts DC (18 - 32 VDC). This HMI is linked to a high-resolution resistive type touch display for intuitive interaction. The screen is a 7-inch size (16:9 aspect ratio) with 800 x 480-pixel resolution with TFT LCD technology, making it simple to interact with the HMI. Its color screen aspect is portrait. It also includes a 350 cd/m2 rated brightness LED backlight with a 20,000 hours lifespan. The device has several connectivity choices, including Ethernet ports for communicating with PLCs and other devices, as well as a serial communication system associated with it, which includes a two-port combined nine (9) pins DSUB with the dual pinout. The iX-T7A has an application storage capacity of 80 megabytes, allowing the operators to act as a storage unit for big HMI projects. This HMI is designed to survive demanding industrial settings, with IP65-certified housing for sealing the front and IP20-rated housing for sealing the back against dust particles and high-pressure water sprays. Furthermore, with an operating temperature range of -10 to +60 degrees Celsius, it may be used in a variety of settings. The iX-T7A is also CE, UL508, and DNV certified, making it a safe and dependable HMI for industrial applications.
