The Allen-Bradley VPL-B1152F-PJ12AA motor is a VPL series low-inertia servo motor that was designed for use in industrial automation applications. This AC-powered low-inertia servo motor can operate at 480 Volts AC. It has a smooth shaft without a key. The VPL-B1152F-PJ12AA servo motor also features a 115-millimeter bolt circle diameter or frame size. The rated speed of the VPL-B1152F-PJ12AA servo motor is 4500 RPM. This motor has no holding brake. The VPL-B1152F-PJ12AA servo motor supports different environmental protection ratings in different mounting positions. When it is mounted horizontally, its environmental protection rating is IP51, and it is protected from dust and from water that drips vertically. The VPL-B1152F-PJ12AA servo motor’s environmental protection rating is IP50 when it is installed with its shaft pointing up and IP53 when it is installed with its shaft pointing down. The motor is protected from dust but not water when its shaft is pointing up, and it is protected from dust and water jets when its shaft is pointing down. The VPL-B1152F-PJ12AA servo motor’s highest environmental protection rating is IP66, but it requires a shaft seal and environmentally-sealed cable connectors for all its cables to achieve an IP66 rating.
