The 2098-DSD-HV050-SE drive manufactured by Allen Bradley is an Ultra 3000 ranges digital servo drive. This drive is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, particularly manufacturing assembly; it is intended to give accurate control of alternating current motors in a number of applications, such as packing, machine tools, and robotics. The 2098-DSD-HV050-SE servo drive is an excellent choice for high-performance, dependable servo drives. The 2098-DSD-HV050-SE's integrated SERCOS interface is a fiber optic port with transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) terminals. The 2098-DSD-HV050-SE's inbuilt SEROC interface supports linear and ring topologies. The SERCOS interface offers 4 and 8 MB (megabytes) data rates and 01-99 node addresses. The 2098-DSD-HV050-SE requires a three-phase 230 volts to 480 volts rated AC (rms) input power with a frequency of 47-63 hertz. It has a continuous output power of 2.5 kilowatts at 230 volts and 5 kilowatts at 460 volts, as well as a continuous output current of 11 amps and an intermittent output current of 22 amps. It features eight (8) optically isolated 12-24 volts inputs, four (4) optically isolated 12-24V outputs, one (1) normally open (N.O.) relay, one (1) 14 bit A/D (analog to digital converter), 10 volts command analog input, one (1) 10 bit A/D, 0 to 10V limit analog input, and one (1) 10 volts, 8 bits, 2 milliamps (mA) maximum output. Allen Bradley originated the 2098-DSD-HV050-SE has an operational temperature range of 0°C to 55 degrees Celsius (32°F to 131°F); it has a relative humidity operating range of 5 to 95% (non condensing).
