As part of Allen-Bradley's Ultra 3000 series, the 2098-DSD-HV050 Digital Servo Drive is built to provide accurate motion and position control in various manufacturing settings. Integration with other control systems, including PACs, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADAs, is a priority in the design of this rackless servo drive. It is compatible with various Kinetix servo motors (MPL, MPM, MPF, MPS, TL, MPAS, and MPAI Electric cylinders) to provide adaptability in multiple machines. Power requirements include a 230-480VAC, 3-phase input voltage, 47-63Hz input frequency, and 7-ampere nominal input current. This servo drive's max output current of 22 Amps and constant output current of 11 Amps provide powerful control. It may be programmed to operate anywhere between 0 and 400 hertz, making it suitable for various speeds and torque needs. There is a built-in 24V DC brake option for further safety, allowing for pinpoint control and quick stopping in an emergency. Connectors for the AC power input, the DC bus for the active shunt resistor kits, the motor power, the passive shunt resistor, and the fault status indicators are conveniently located on the front panel for speedy troubleshooting. It improves control and monitoring capabilities by supporting a variety of communication interface modules, including Sercos, Analog, Digital with DeviceNet, Indexing, and Indexing DeviceNet. In addition, absolute encoders with multiple turns are supported, so your precise location will be preserved during a power failure. The 2098-DSD-HV050 is a high-performance industrial computer that functions optimally between freezing and boiling.
