The Allen-Bradley 2098-DSD-010X servo drive is an advanced Ultra3000 series digital servo drive that was designed to excel in various motion control applications with industrial motors. This versatile servo drive can store pre-configured motion options, and it can offer both relative and absolute motion control capabilities to a motor. The 2098-DSD-010X drive can operate on an input voltage range of 100 to 240 Volts AC RMS with single-phase AC voltage. Its input current rating is 9 Amps, and its input frequency range is 47 to 63 Hertz. The 2098-DSD-010X drive also supports an output voltage range from 100 to 240 Volts AC with a continuous output power rating of 1 kilowatt and a continuous output current rating of 5 Amps. It also supports an intermittent or peak output current capacity of 15 Amps for demanding tasks. The front panel of the 2098-DSD-010X drive has several status LEDs and a 7-segment status indicator feature. The 2098-DSD-010X drive is equipped with a CN3 connector, a 9-pin serial port connector for R-232 or R-485 communication, a CN2 connector or 15-pin motor feedback connector for motor feedback signals, and a CN1 or 44-pin user I/O connector for interfacing external input and output signals. The 2098-DSD-010X servo drive can endure operational vibrations of up to 2.5G at 10-200 Hz, operational shocks of up to 15G, and altitudes of up to 1500m above sea level. It operates within a temperature range of 0-55°C (32-131°F) and with a relative humidity range between 5 and 95% without condensation. Its compact dimensions are approximately 98.1mm x 32.77mm x 65.02mm, and its approximate weight is 2.10 kg (4.6 lb).
