Eaton Cutler Hammer engineered the SVX030A1-4A1B1 is an adjustable frequency drive. The SVX030A1-4A1B1 operates with a 3-phase 480 volt input power, and it produces a power of 30 horsepower. The SVX030A1-4A1B1 control logic module is powered from an external source. This drive includes a rapid setup wizard starting from scratch. This AC drive allows configuration via various protocols; as a result, communication with all commonly used control modules is simplified. The device includes Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus DP, LonWorks, CAN, and DeviceNet modules. The SVX030A1-4A1B1 consists of a powerful control unit microprocessor for local control chores, freeing up the control system. As a result, the control system's functions are likewise facilitated or simplified. There are up to five (5) plug-and-play I/O cards, each with its own set of I/O configurations. Three LED status lights are also incorporated to help with monitoring and diagnosis. The SVX030A1-4A1B1 is a NEMA type 1 (IP21 class) enclosure that runs on a normal AFD software series. The SVX030A1-4A1B1's keypad type is alphanumeric, and the drive's frame size is 6. The SVX030A1-4A1B1 features two (2) analog inputs and six (6) digital inputs, with one (1) analog, one (1) digital, and two (2) relay outputs. The SVX030A1-4A1B1 has a board modification compared to conventional boards and an internal brake chopper circuit as the primary brake chopper option. This drive is beneficial for motors that do not need to run at full speed all of the time, such as fans and pumps. It can also help motors last longer by decreasing wear and tear. This is due to the fact that they may be used to smoothly start and stop motors, as well as to reduce the amount of time motors spend running at full speed.
