The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 41391-454-01-B1FX control module is part of the SMC-Flex series, and it was designed especially for pump control applications. This pump control module is microprocessor-based, and it can maximize pump performance and extend the pump’s operational longevity. Its line voltage ratings range from 200 Volts AC to 600 Volts AC, and its control input voltage range is from 100 Volts AC to 240 Volts AC. The 41391-454-01-B1FX control module can produce motor start curves that are specifically matched to the linked pump's special beginning characteristics. In addition, this control module excels at reducing the risk of common problems with fluid piping systems such as surges, valve slamming, and fluid hammering. The 41391-454-01-B1FX control module supports 3 separate operating modes, and these modes are the SMC option mode, the stop time mode, and the starting mode. Users have full control over how the pump behaves since they can choose the permitted stopping time, which can be set to anywhere from 0 to 120 seconds. The 41391-454-01-B1FX control module has a user-friendly control interface with buttons for start, stop, and jog control. It also has status indicator LEDs, including the Net A, Net B, Mod, and Port LEDs that provide the users with visible input on the control module's working condition in real-time. The 41391-454-01-B1FX module also includes a backspin timer with configurable starting and stopping times. This control module can prevent surges during the startup and shutdown procedures for a pump, and it effectively controls motor speed to protect the fluid piping system. The 41391-454-01-B1FX pump control module meets all of the SMC ratings.
