The Allen-Bradley 150-F361NBD SMC-Flex controller is a solid-state smart motor controller. This controller comes with open housing and has to be installed in an external enclosure to operate safely in many environments. The 150-F361NBD motor controller supports rated voltage values from 200 Volts AC minimum to 460 Volts AC maximum. It can support 300 Hp of output power at 460 Volts AC of rated voltage when it is used to control a line-connected motor. The 150-F361NBD controller can also control Delta-connected motors. When the 150-F361NBD controller is controlling a Delta-connected motor and operates at 460 Volts AC of rated voltage, it supports 500 Horsepower of output. The controller’s control power voltage rating is 100-240 Volts AC with a frequency rating of 50 or 60 Hertz. The 150-F361NBD controller comes with a motor protection feature. The LED lights on the 150-F361NBD controller will illuminate to alert users of various things. Both jam detection and stall protection features are included in the 150-F361NBD controller. The 150-F361NBD controller is also known as a soft starter because it can start the connected motor up with a variety of starting methods, and one of these methods is a soft start method. This controller supports 9 total start/stop modes and 3 slow-speed modes that allow it to be used in a variety of applications. The 150-F361NBD controller supports internal bypass contacts, metering, and diagnostics features. In a 3-wire system, the 150-F361NBD controller supports 361 Amps of current in light-duty and normal or medium-duty applications, 293 Amps of current in heavy-duty applications, and 246 Amps of current in severe-duty applications.
