The Allen-Bradley 150-C85NBR controller is a member of the SMC-3 Smart Motor Controller family, and it can be used to perform motor control tasks in a variety of commercial and industrial contexts. This controller operates with inrush current levels and minimal mechanical stress levels, and it can be used to start and stop a motor in a variety of ways. The 150-C85NBR controller supports selectable initial torque ratings of 15%, 25%, 35%, or 65%. This controller can also meet different system-specific needs with its adjustable current limit settings. The current limit settings supported by the 150-C85NBR controller are 150%, 250%, 350%, or 450% of the rated full load current. This controller can control motors that are either line-connected or Delta-connected, and operates with rated voltages of 200/208 VAC, 230 VAC, 380/400/415 VAC, or 460VAC. This controller can support different kilowatt and Horsepower output ratings at different rated voltages and frequencies. The 150-C85NBR controller also supports 24 VDC/VAC of control voltage. The 150-C85NBR controller supports auxiliary contacts for normal/up-to-speed/fault/network functions. The durability of its structure makes it ideal for use in demanding applications where moderate vibrations and shocks are common. It can be used in locations at up to 2000 meters in altitude without any de-rating. The 150-C85NBR controller also operates without derating at ambient temperatures between -5 and 55 degrees Celsius. The 150-C85NBR controller’s structure has an IP2X protection rating.
