The 150-C43NBD is an SMC-3 smart controller ranges controller manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The 150-C43NBD requires a line voltage of 200-480VAC and a control voltage of 100-240VAC. It can be used as a line or delta controller and has output ratings ranging from 10-50 HP, depending on the mode of operation. This controller also includes one (1) auxiliary contact that operates at 120/240VAC nominal voltages. It includes four (4) operational modes, such as soft start, current limit start, soft stop, and selectable jumpstart, as well as programmed motor overload protection via the transformers on each of the three phases. This motor controller includes several protection and diagnostics capabilities for motor overload, underload, unbalance, Undervoltage, overvoltage, stall and jam protection, and ground fault. The motor controller provides over-temperature protection by measuring the SCR temperature with an inbuilt thermistor. It can provide phase-reversal protection with a DIP switch that allows input power to be verified before startup. The front panel of the 150-C43NBD includes one (1) LED indication displaying the motor controller's RUN / FAULT status. There is also a rotary switch for adjusting the motor overload capacity. To increase the controller's performance, this controller supports the addition of accessory components such as auxiliary contact blocks, fans, connecting modules, protection modules, IEC Lines or load side terminal covers. It can sustain a maximum operational shock of 15G and a vibrational shock of 1G. The IP2X-rated 150-C43NBD features an open-style enclosure and is designed for usage in a degree 2 pollution environment. The controller is UL, CSA, and EN/IEC standard compliant, as well as c-UL, CCC, CSA, and CE approved.
