Allen-Bradley created the 150-C25NCD is an SMC-3 ranges smart motor controller; it is a 3-wire controller that can handle 3-phase motors and is also compatible with Delta-connected motors. This motor controller contains customizable auxiliary connections, allowing users to select between regular and high-speed auxiliary contacts, as well as a full 3-phase control. This controller includes an LED display for monitoring its present state. This display typically shows status information such as OFF, RUN, and FAULT states. It includes DIP switches and an overload FLC setting with a rotary pot for added convenience. An SCR bypass contactor and an overload relay are present in all phases of the controller. The coil voltage of this controller varies from 100-240V AC, and the operating voltage rating is 200-600V AC at 50-60 hertz. It has a 25 amps current rating, a 9.2-25 amps motor current, a maximum of 15 kilowatts power at 50 hertz, and a maximum of 7.5-20 horsepower at 60 hertz. The 150-C25NCD has four operating modes, namely, quick start, soft start, soft stop, and current limit start. This controller offers Overload protection allows operators to choose between manual and automatic overload resets, as well as trip class (OFF, 10, 15, or 20). This controller can detect problems such as phase load/open load, selected phase reversal, phase imbalance, shorted SCRs, and power section overtemperature. It can be utilized in conveyors, compressors, fans, pumps, lifts, and chillers, among other things. It has an operating vibration of 1 g and a non-operating vibration of 2.5 g, as well as an operating shock of 15 g and a non-operating shock of 30 g. These qualities allow it to have a smaller volume and surface area than typical soft start controllers.
