Allen Bradley manufactured the 150-C19NBD smart motor controller is part of the SMC-3 series, and this device is commonly referred to as a motor soft starter. It is primarily used to provide protected motor start-up and shutdown as well as to implement energy savings. This soft starting device has a 19-ampere rating, a 200-460V AC input voltage, a 3-phase line voltage, a line input frequency of 50/60 hertz, and a control voltage of 100 - 240 VAC. This controller has an open type enclosure and typical control methods, including soft start, current limit start, selectable kickstart, coast-to-rest, and soft stop. This solid-state controller has a selectable overload trip class of 10, 15, or 20, and a dielectric withstands of 22000 volts AC for UL/CSA/NEMA installation and a DV/DT protection of 1000V/s, and a DV/DT protection of 1000V/s. This gadget is only for use with three-phase motors. The SMC-3 alignment solid-state smart motor controller has an open-type enclosure. This controller is line and delta-compatible and is utilized for a variety of applications such as chillers, fans, pumps, conveyors, compressors, lifts, mixers, and so on. This unit includes an LED status indication that indicates RUN, OFF, and fault conditions, with the sort of fault indicated by the number of flashes the LED indicator produces. This controller also has a reset button that also serves as a hold-to-test button to check for defects. The 150-C19NBD controller also features built-in protection, including electronic motor overload protection, phase loss/open load protection, phase reversal protection, phase imbalance, over-temperature protection, and shorted SCR.
